Spacious room with beautiful decor, but the shower had low pressure and went cold.

Had a lovely one-night stay where I enjoyed the delicious breakfast and cozy vibe. I spent some time relaxing by the lovely garden and enjoyed a nice stroll around the nearby area. The only hiccup was the dessert options at dinner, which missed the mark a bit, but overall, it was a great experience! 😊

The guest house offers a great location, just a short walk to the lake and town. Lovely views. The room was clean and comfortable, although the carpet could use an update. Breakfast had a good variety, but the shower curtain could be better designed.

the location is super great, really close to everything in bowness. breakfast was delish with lots of choices, hot and cold. our room was cozy, just like they said it would be, so that was cool. staff were friendly and helpful, made us feel really welcome. full english breakfast was a highlight for sure!

Had a nice stay for a couple of nights. The location was perfect with stunning views of the lake! The food was really tasty, especially breakfast. Most staff were super friendly and helpful. Just wish the room could've been a bit bigger for the price. Still, we enjoyed our time!

Decent breakfast but rough around the edges

We had a bit of a rough start getting moved from a cold annex room to a better one in the main building. The breakfast was a nice surprise, really good options. Just wish the shower pressure was better. it kind of sputtered and went cold. Had some laughs despite the hiccups, but I'd have liked better service.

I had a dreadful experience during my stay. The bathroom was unnecessarily cramped for a junior suite, making it a nightmare to get ready. Plus, the noise from other guests disrupted my sleep, which was incredibly frustrating. I expected more for the price I paid, especially with the lack of parking space forcing me to use an expensive alternative far from the hotel.

Breakfast was a real treat, offering a fab spread to kickstart the day! Plus, being just a hop away from Graze and Monties made for delightful dining options nearby.

Things to note, the car park was a bit snug for larger motors, and if you went out, finding a space upon your return could be a challenge. Oh, and those motion-activated lights were a bit jumpy—did I sense some ghostly visitors?

Perfect for couples

The location was superb, just a short walk to all the restaurants and bars. I had a lovely chat with the owner, who knew all the best spots to eat and drink around. It felt nice to be welcomed like that!

It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but I’d say it was still reasonable for what we got.
